The new quarterly newsletter UPSC Insights will share highlights from ongoing research, feature interviews with alumni and offer updates on events and opportunities. It aims to strengthen connections within the UPSC community and link the centre’s research more closely with alumni, collaborators and industry partners.
The idea of a UPSC newsletter has been discussed for several years as a way to keep the growing UPSC community connected and to share the centre’s research with a wider audience. Now, this plan is finally becoming reality.
“We have a large and active community at UPSC that constantly grows,” says Ove Nilsson, Director of UPSC. “Many colleagues and students have moved on to new roles in academia and industry, and we want to keep those connections alive and make it easier for everyone to follow what happens here.”
UPSC Insights will be published four times per year and will include updates about ongoing research, interviews with alumni, and information about open positions and upcoming events. It is aimed at UPSC alumni, collaborators, and industry partners interested in plant research and innovation.
“We see this as a way to strengthen the dialogue between our researchers, alumni, and partners,” Ove Nilsson adds. “It is important for us to share our progress and to show how research at UPSC contributes to plant science and society.”
The first issue of UPSC Insights was published today. Anyone interested in following UPSC’s research and activities is warmly invited welcome to subscribe and stay connected with the UPSC community.
