UPSC works to foster international networking and has collaborative links with outstanding research environments in Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Spain, the U.S.A., Canada and Japan. The nature of our partnerships varies according to the need.
Recently, UPSC has together with SweTree Technologies entered into partnership with the VIB Center for Plant Systems Biology. This joint research collaboration aims to identify new genes for growth increase in trees and is envisioned to strengthen all involved parties.
We have also a strong trilateral partnership, called INUPRAG, with the National Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA) in France (BAP and EFPA divisions) and the Center for Research in Agricultural Genomics (CRAG) in Barcelona, Spain. This partnership provides training for young scientists and supports common research projects between UPSC, CRAG and eight leading plant biology and ecology laboratories in France. UPSC also has a formal agreement for research cooperation with the RIKEN Plant Science Center (RIKEN-PSC) in Yokahama, Japan.
