Collaboration is central to research at UPSC. Our researchers participate in large national and international research programmes, interdisciplinary research environments and strategic scientific initiatives. These collaborations bring together expertise from different disciplines and institutions, creating opportunities to address complex scientific questions and advance plant science.
Information about UPSC's formal institutional partnerships can be found on the page International Partnerships.

Industry collaborations
UPSC has a long tradition of collaboration with industry, particularly within forest biotechnology and forest genetics. Through research programmes, industrial doctoral projects and collaborative initiatives, UPSC researchers work together with industrial partners to strengthen innovation and facilitate the translation of scientific discoveries into practical applications.
A current example is the Wallenberg Initiatives in Forest Research (WIFORCE), which includes industrial doctoral students and builds on UPSC's long-standing tradition of competence centres and industrial graduate research schools.
