This project investigates how plant cells acquire their identity and how positional information influences cell fate during development. Using root hair cells as a model system, the researchers aim to identify the signals and mechanisms that determine whether cells develop into root hair or non-hair cells.
The project is funded by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation through a Project Grant.
