White light LED panels from JBeamBio are custom-designed LED panels suitable for the illumination of Arabidopsis plants and other plant material. The LED panels are 50 x 60 cm, standing on legs that are 20 cm in height and can provide high light intensities, approximating full sunlight (up to 2,000 μmol photons m-2 s-1). This LED panel can provide rapidly fluctuating light conditions that mimic those found in nature due to fast time resolution (3 s) with unlimited programmable steps. It also offers the possibility to record natural light conditions (profile recorder) and replicate them under controlled conditions.

The SL 3500 LED lights panel (Photon Systems Instruments; www.psi.cz) is an array of high-power LEDs: 240 (3 x 80) controlled by a manual intensity control unit that can operate under multiple regimes. The SL 3500 LED panel provides a high adjustable light output, up to 3,000 µmol x m-2 x s-1 in four colours: red (627 nm), green (530 nm), blue (447 nm) and far red (735 nm). Panel size: 30 x 20 cm.
