The Wallenberg Initiatives in Forest Research (WIFORCE) is a basic science research programme that aims to deepen our understanding of the processes behind forest growth, survival, and biodiversity. The knowledge can contribute to sustainable forestry, new management practices, and climate-adapted trees.
