Welcome to a presentation of the research within the strategic initiative "Trees and Crops for the Future (TC4F), involving SLU, UmU and Skogforsk in close collaboration with Berzelii Centre for Forest biotechnology, Future Forests, The Spruce Genome Project, ICON and others. It is a large initiative that started in 2010 with a budget exceeding 20 MSEK/year.

The meeting takes place January 24, in P-O Bäckströms sal, at the Faculty of Forest Sciences in Umeå, between 10- ca 16. Researchers within the different Themes dealing with aspects of trees and forests will present the projects funded by the program and the plans for the future.
